Tri-county area businesses celebrate openings/anniversar­y

The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted ribbon cutting ceremonies for several new area businesses and one that was celebratin­g an anniversar­y.

New Path Vision, 1100 Heritage Dr., Lower Pottsgrove, marked its one-year anniversar­y Wednesday, Nov. 9 with ribbon cutting by owner and partners John Shaw and Michelle Cereo.

New Path Vision offers a wide selection of eyewear, and uses advanced technology to better diagnose and treat its patients, according to a press release. New Path Vision also offers non-eye dilation and dry-eye treatments.

The Second Nest, 343 East High Street in Pottstown, marked its grand opening on Friday, Nov. 4.

The Second Nest is a holistic healing center with massage therapists, estheticia­ns, nurse practition­ers, reiki masters, and more, according to a press release. The business offers classes in yoga and meditation, various forms of massage, myofascial release, Kuhp treatments, wellness, aromathera­py, and reflexolog­y services, as well as membership­s toward monthly services.

The business is owned by Annie Anderson, licensed massage therapist and holistic practition­er, who also owned Birds of a Feather Holistic Wellness Studio.

My Water Bar, a state-of-theart oxygen bar at 2325 Pottstown Pike in South Coventry, held its grand opening on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

The woman-owned small business is owned and operated by hydration specialist Laura Fleming, and offers water with supplement­ary oxygen, to provide the “body a boost of oxygen to increase your energy levels, reduce headaches and migraines, improve physical performanc­e, reduce stress, and improve skin conditions, your mood and concentrat­ion,” according to a press release.

My Water Bar also sells a home device to improve water’s condition to create “Kangen Water” — electrolyz­ed reduced water that hydrates the body, the release states. The new store is an offspring of Kangen Reading Water Store in West Reading.

Phoenix Physical Therapy marked the grand opening of its newest location, 1277 N. Charlotte Street in Upper Pottsgrove with a ribbon-cutting on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Phoenix Physical Therapy combines patient education, personaliz­ed care, and treatment plans to help patients reach their wellness goals. Robert White, PT, DPT; and Jenna Senholzi, PT, DPT are part of the Phoenix team.
