On display: Award-winning artist Stefani Luciani featured in Art in the Storefront
AMBLER >> The next featured artist in Art in the Storefront is Stefania Luciani. Her exhibit is entitled, “A Sense of Place — On The Paths of Memory.”
Please join the community at the opening reception in Ambler on Friday, Nov. 18, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., adjacent to Denney Electric Supply, 61 E. Butler Ave. Refreshments will be served. The exhibition will display until Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023.
A graduate of the former ishop Kenrick High School, Luciani, who was born to Italian parents, never lost touch with her roots. She holds degrees from the University of Madrid, the University of Paris, Chestnut Hill College, University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design and is a certified public education teacher of foreign languages and art.
Her cultural exchange collaborative projects for the cross pollination of various art periods and styles have taken her throughout the United States, Europe, Mongolia, and other significant places around the world.
As a visual arts ambassador, Luciani is fostering many civic, social impact, resilient health, and climate change preparedness projects. Her works include oil paintings, plein aire landscapes, murals, painting with raku-fired clay honorifics, photography, mixed media, graphic arts, and stained glass mosaic murals.

The order gave officials the opportunity to efficiently respond to the
widespread destruction as large scale clean up, repairs and other projects were required.
“We are seeking to extend it for an additional 60 days,” said Solicitor Josh Stein during a Nov. 3 board meeting. “While we have closed out most of the work related to the disaster
declaration, there are still a few items outstanding, and we are still working with FEMA on certain reimbursements.”
It’s unclear what projects are still outstanding. The latest declaration took effect on Nov. 7 and is slated to last for 60 days, according to the resolution.
