Thomas Joseph Rush, Jr.

Thomas Joseph Rush Jr passed away in his home in Lower Providence on October 27, 2022. He was 79 years old.

Tom was married

McGarvey (His Angel).

Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 4, 1943. He was the son of the late Thomas Joseph Rush Sr and Alice Marie Trexler.

Though he had several jobs, PECO was the job he retired from January 1 1995 after 29 years. He took to woodworking and has made countless pieces that are in many homes. He shared his knowledge of how things worked, how to fix things and life lessons with those he loved. He was always there for his family. He loved to laugh and enjoyed each day with a what can I learn today attitude. He enjoyed being outdoors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 6 children Eileen, Carol, Nancy, Tommy, Joe, and David. He has many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

He also is survived by two sisters Eileen Morris and Maryann Reichling and has many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy and Mike and his sister Alice Swanson.
