Mary Rose Marinari
Mary Rose Marinari, of Norristown, Pa, passed away on November 23, 2022 at the age of 98. Born April 15, 1924 to the late Francesco and Carmella (nee Bruno) Pellegrino; Mary was the beloved mother of Robert Marinari (Stephanie), Mary Allen (the late William), and Jacqueline Leban (the late Joseph); cherished grandmother of William Allen (Dawn), Charles Allen (Ann Marie), Robert Joseph Marinari (Tracy), Lori Jones, Mathew Marinari (Jean), Bridget Marinari, and Sean Leban; great-grandmother of 7; dear sister of Vivian Burr; in addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Bridget, and siblings Joseph Dinolfi, Frank Pellegrino, Anthony Pellegrino, Angeline Fazzari, Marion Gordon, Josephine Salamone, and Marie Barbine.
Mary was a kind, caring, and loving person. She especially loved children. She shared her love of knitting and crocheting by making all of the newborns in the family baby outfits, or booties for Christmas; she was also a foster grandparent for 30 years, and was involved in the Preschool Intervention Program. Mary was also very dedicated to Holy Saviour Parish. She enjoyed volunteering at the Holy Saviour feast held in the summer. She also spent her free time playing Bingo and going to the casinos.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mary’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 7-9PM at the Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton, Pa, then on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 9-945 AM, followed by her funeral mass at 10 AM, at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401; interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
