Upper Merion’s Schweikert named to all-state team

Upper Merion outside hitter Sophia Schweikert was rewarded for an outstanding season by making the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team.

Over in 3A, the state champs Pope John Paul

II had two players make all-state with junior setter Madison Monahan and senior Natalie Ricevuto making the cut. Mount St. Joseph’s Taylor Montgomery and Archbishop Wood’s Natalie Albin also were represented on the allstate team.
