- JACKIE CRABTREE SPECIAL THE TIMES TO

Next Tuesday, Nov. 6, is Election Day.

Voting is a privilege that we often take for granted and we don’t think about how impor- tant it is. It is your opportunity to have a say in how you want your nation, your state, your county and your city to be run.

You have heard from the different candidates for all the different offices at all levels from federal to local, their ideas, their goals and how they say they will accomplish them.

This is your opportunity to cast your ballot for the choice you feel like is best for the positions.

“Why should voters select me as mayor?”

Pea Ridge is a wonderful community, with dedicated individuals who have worked tirelessly to see our town grow. During our

administration, we have seen our community grow from a little over 1,600 to close to 6,000 in population. We have also seen our business community grow as well. That growth was made possible by the decisions of previous administrations that we were able to build on. Without their foresight and vision we would not be where we are today.

I sincerely feel that we have assembled a dedicated team with the best interests of the city at heart, which can move us through the growth and expansion of Pea Ridge over the next four years. I would appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve our great community.
