Blue Wave Hearing Centers:
Award-Winning business serving Northwest Arkansas since 1999
Blue Wave Hearing Centers has been in operation since 1999 and currently has two locations, in Bentonville and Bella Vista. The Bella Vista location was the first to open. In 1999, there were no other independent audiology offices in Bella Vista and there was a need in the market for this type of clinic. At that time, there were mostly retirees in the community and hearing and balance was a specialty for which most people would have had to have driven quite a distance.
“As audiologists, we specialize in hearing and balance disorders. This involves diagnostic testing, treatment, and more commonly, dispensing of prescriptive hearing devices, ” stated owner and audiologist Dr. Molly Jean Dillon. “There is a list of services that go along with that, including cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and adjustments.”
In addition to Dr. Dillon, the other two audiologists at Blue Wave Hearing Centers include Dr. Hope Rowe and Dr. Beth Muller. All three audiologists have a combined experience of more than 34 years and, as healthcare practitioners, audiologists have to get Continuing Education Units. “We typically get three times more training than we are required to do,” noted Dillon. “We have to keep abreast of all the changes in technology.”
Blue Wave Hearing Centers has won seven awards in the last year for service, including Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year, Best of the Best Hearing Clinic (NWA Democrat-Gazette), Best of the Best Audiologist (NWA Democrat-Gazette), First Impression Award Individual (Audigy, LLC), First Impression Award Clinic (Audigy, LLC), Very Best Audiologist (Celebrate!), and Best Audiologist/Hearing Clinic (CitiScapes). “Our customer service is outstanding,” added Dr. Beth Muller.
Dr. Beth Muller recently won the category of Best of the Best Audiologist in October of 2017. Dr. Muller has been a clinical audiologist since 2004 and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has worked in a variety of medical settings, treating tinnitus, hearing, and balance disorders.
Some of the services provided at Blue Wave Hearing include hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus treatment, earwax removal, service and repair, Madefor-iPhone technology, hearing protection devices, Bluetooth and wireless, physician collaboration, community outreach, educational semintars, and supplies and accessories.
Blue Wave offers free services for veterans, so veterans who live in Bella Vista may not even have to make the drive to the VA clinic in Fayetteville.
