BOSSIER CITY - The Funeral Services will be held Friday Sept 15th at Boone Funeral Home.2157 Airline Dr. Bossier City, LA. The Reverend Robert Goins of United Methodist of Bossier will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10 am, service to follow after at Boone Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Hillcrest at 12:30 pm.

Patricia Reed passed away in Shreveport, LA on September 12, 2023, at the age of 89. She was born in Chicago on June 5, 1934. She Graduated from Northumberland High School. Pat was married to George Reed on Aug 22, 1953; They were married 70 Years.

Pat worked a variety of jobs within the banking industry. Starting National Bank of Bossier, Bank of The Mid South, and finishing at Citizens National Bank of Bossier 30 years. She was an active member of The First United Methodist Church serving as Secretary of the Finance Committee, Chairman of the Pastor Parish Relation Committee, Secretary of the Administrative Board, Chairman of the Administrative Board and secretary on the board of Trustees. Member of the Bossier Charter Chapter of the American Business woman’s association having Served President, Corresponding Secretary Bulletin Committee and Recording Secretary. 2d Medical Group Barksdale Air Force Base Volunteer of the Year for 2006. In December of 1979. The mayor declared “Pat Reed Day” in Bossier City.

With the Church made and provided individual health care baskets for the sexually abused and physically abused women.

Pat is survived by children Rick (Tammy), Scott (Patty), Sandra Johnson, 4 grand-children and 6 great grand-children.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband George Reed; mother and father Edythe and David Straub, and step-father George Renninger.
