Man pleads guilty to drug offense
A Tobyhanna man accused of selling heroin in Monroe County pleaded guilty Monday to federal drug charges.
Victor Tello, 25, entered the plea before U.S. District Judge Malachy E. Mannion. The charges against him stem from an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, state police, Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department and the Monroe County district attorney’s office.
Mr. Tello sold between 40 and 60 grams of heroin, the equivalent of 1300 and 2200 retail bags, in November and December 2013, according to prosecutors.
Mr. Tello will be sentenced following the completion of a pre-sentencing report.
