Stanley T. Christophe­r, Honesdale, died Dec. 13 at home after an illness. His wife of 52 years is the former Patricia Racht.

Born in Hollisterv­ille, son of the late Stanley and Stella Walako Christophe­r, he was a member of the congregati­on of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Honesdale. Before retirement, he was employed by PPL as a linesman leader.

Stanley was a devoted family man. He loved gardening, watching NASCAR, making maple syrup and otherwise working outside. He was also a student of the Bible.

Also surviving are daughters, Laura Thomas, Honesdale; and Amy Christophe­r and her companion, Stephen Fritz, Honesdale; sons, David Christophe­r and his wife, Joann, Greentown; and Paul Christophe­r and his wife, Donna, Honesdale; sisters, Roseann Brink and her husband, Mike, Lakeville; and Marion Samson and her husband, Jerry, Lake Ariel; brothers, Edward Christophe­r and his fiancée, Alice Martin, Honesdale; John Christophe­r and his wife, Barbara, Ohio; and Robert Wargo and his wife, Vicki, Lakewood; grandchild­ren, Kayla, Justyna, Jessica, Adam, Tommy, Natalie, Anthony, Michael, Nicholas and Stephanie; a great-grandson, Logan; many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by sons, Robert and Thomas Christophe­r.

A memorial talk will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2756 Lake Ariel Highway, Honesdale, PA 18431. A luncheon will follow at the Gravity Inn, Waymart.

Private interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
