Barbara C. Crocker, 87, of Union Dale, died Monday night at Forest Nursing Center. She was the wife of Charles M. Crocker. The couple had been married for 33 years.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Stanley L. and Flossie Hartley Correll, she was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. Barbara had been employed as a purchasing agent for Hendrick Manufactur­ing Co., Carbondale.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Carbondale, and the Triple M Club. She also enjoyed painting and taught ceramics.

Also surviving are a stepdaught­er, Susan Crocker, Basking Ridge, N.J.; a stepson, Thomas Crocker, Williamspo­rt; a sister, Alma Ely, Watkins Glen, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Irwyn Correll; and a sister, Shirley Jaworski.

A graveside service will be scheduled at a future date in Union Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributi­ons may be made to First United Methodist Church, 76 Terrace St., Carbondale, or the donor’s favorite charity.
