At the Everhart Museum, 1901 Mulberry St., check out “Wolves, Magic Mirrors & Spinning Wheels: The Anatomy of Fairy Tales,” which looks at the role fairy tales play in modern culture and deconstructs its various components, plus its community art component, “Fairy Tale Remix,” in which local artists re-envisioned fairy tales or depicted new ones. The exhibits remain on display through Saturday, Dec. 31. For details, visit everhart-museum.org or call 570-346-7186. Meanwhile, Steamtown National Historic Site, 350 Cliff St., continues to display Daniel Troy’s exhibit of railroad photography through winter. His work focuses on North American railroads at dawn and dusk and during severe weather. For details, call 570-340-5200 or visit nps.gov/stea.
