Stu­dent artists help cre­ate mu­ral for li­brary

Stu­dent artists gather with vol­un­teers be­fore the re­cent open­ing of Ben­ton Twp. Chil­dren’s Li­brary. Dur­ing the win­ter, Lack­awanna Trail stu­dents, guided by lo­cal artist Barry Singer, de­signed and painted the mu­ral shown in the back­ground, now a dis­tinc­tive fea­ture of the li­brary, lo­cated in the Com­mu­nity Cen­ter at Routes 107 and 407 in Fleetville. The li­brary is open Wed­nes­days from 4-6 p.m. Ad­di­tional hours will be an­nounced on the li­brary’s Face­book page.
