Harris, Brooks lead Peddie past Penn Charter

PHILADELPH­IA — Led by 14 points from Xavier Harris and 12 more from Jonah Brooks, the Peddie School boys basketball team turned the tables on Penn Charter to win, 47-35, Wednesday.

After falling behind, 11-10, in the first quarter, the Falcons outscored Penn Charter, 8-4, in the second period to take the lead to stay.

Mike Mcglinchey led all scorers with 16 points for Penn Charter. Harris 5-3-14, Vigneault 2-1-6, Mbargorba 3-2-8, Deangelis 2-0-5, Lindberg 1-0-2, Brooks 5-2-12. Totals: 18-8-47. Awilliams 1-0-2, Shaffer 2-1-5, Moderski 4-2-10, Mcglinchey 5-4-16, Lamb 0-1-1, Kumor 0-1-1. Totals: 12-9-35.
