Notre Dame takes down Ewing

LAWRENCE — Meaghan Bailey scored two-first half goals and Imanijoy Graham added an insurance tally as the Notre Dame field hockey team beat Ewing, 3-1, Tuesday afternoon.

Rachel Storer netted in the first half for the Blue Devils.

Princeton 4, Robbinsvil­le 0

PRINCETON — The Little Tigers, paced by two Emilia LopezOna goals, scored twice in each half to down the Ravens.

Vivien Bazarko and Kelly Dredger were also on target.

CROSS COUNTRY

BOYS

HAMILTON — WW-P North’s Eddie Cunningham won the race in 16:06, 14 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Luke Dermondy from Hightstown. Hopewell’s Nigel Bates finished third.

The Knights ended the day with three team victories.

HOPEWELL TWP. — Notre Dame claimed the top 10 spots for a pair of victories over Nottingham and Lawrence. Andrew Reed and Mik Elliot both came across in 17:59.

WEST WINDSOR — Tom Vinci and Karn Setya went onetwo for WW-P South as the Pirates picked up three victories at Mercer county Park.

Vinci finished in 17:01 and Setya in 17:04. Kevin Vahdat and Connor Donahue from Princeton and South’s Jeff Chen rounded out the top five.

GIRLS

HAMILTON — Mandya Altan of WW-P North claimed the top spot in the girls race at Veterans Park with a time of 19:39. Hopewell’s Haley Mahn was second in 19:46.

HOPEWELL TWP. — Just like its boys team, the Notre Dame girls swept past Nottingham and Lawrence. Rachel Schlegel won the race in 21:33.
