HAMILTON — Stella M. Moticha Grochala, 91, of Hamilton Township, died peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at the St. Joseph’s Residence at Morris Hall, Lawrencevi­lle, surrounded by her loving sons.

Born and raised in Pocahontas, Va., Mrs. Grochala moved to Trenton in 1939 and had been a Trenton and Hamilton Township resident since that time. She was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy as an aviation machinist mate. Stella retired in 1982 after 20 years service with the former Heinemann Electric on the Brunswick Pike. She was an avid reader, reading several books a week. Most of all, Stella loved spending quality time with her grandchild­ren.

She was the daughter of the late Felix and Mary Moticha, wife of the late Peter W. Grochala, sister of the late Zygmunt, Joseph, Michael, Stanley, John, Helen and Tessie. Surviving are her three beloved sons, Paul M. and wife Diana Grochala of Hamilton Square, Eugene W. and wife Lorraine Grochala of Robbinsvil­le, and Mark P. Grochala and companion Donna M. Browning of Ewing Township; six grandchild­ren, Jason Grochala, Lauren Grochala, Ashley Grochala, Kimberly and husband Matt Greene, Alison Grochala and Amy Grochala; her sister, MaryAnn Kandebo of Hamilton Township; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Marion Moticha of Clearwater, Fla.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton.

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Hedwig’s Church with the Rev. Dr. Jacek Labinski presiding. Burial will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Ewing Township. Calling hours are from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flopwers, memorial donations in Stella’s memory are to be made to the United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County, 721 Broadway St., Bayonne, NJ 07002.
