BOSTON — The Boston Red Sox Wednesday honored some of their great players on the field as members of the “All Fenway Park Team.”

The pregame ceremony caped off a year of celebrations for the ballpark’s 100th anniversary.

Second baseman Dustin Pedroia and designated hitter David Ortiz were the only players from this year’s team on the 40-man roster. Also among the two dozen attending the ceremony were Carl Yastrzemski, Fred Lynn, Carlton Fisk, Pedro Martinez and Roger Clemens.

The team was chosen by the fans, historians and members of the front office staff.

The members of the team each threw a ceremonial first pitch to players on the current roster.

Darvish feels better ARLINGTON, Texas — Yu Darvish was feeling much better a day after having to skip his scheduled start for the Texas Rangers because of neck stiffness.

Manager Ron Washington said that Darvish, who played catch in the outfield before their game against Oakland, might even return to the mound before his next scheduled start for the AL West leaders.

Darvish’s next turn in the rotation would be Sunday in the Rangers’ regularseason home finale against the Los Angeles Angels.

Washington said Darvish is on schedule for that start. But when questioned, the manager acknowledged that if Darvish might pitch sooner if he’s “100 percent before Sunday.”

The Rangers scratched Darvish about 2 1/2 hours before Tuesday night’s game against second-place Oakland, which the A’s won 3-2 in 10 innings. Jimenez out for season CHICAGO — Cleveland Indians right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez won’t pitch again this season because of a sprained right ankle. Jimenez was examined Monday in Cleveland after having some problems in his previous two starts. He was 9-17 with a 5.55 ERA.

Wolf goes on DL BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Orioles placed left-handed pitcher Randy Wolf on the 60-day disabled list with a torn ligament in his left elbow.

Manager Buck Showalter said that Wolf, who was 2-0 with a 5.28 ERA in five games with the Orioles since signing as a free agent on Aug. 31, felt discomfort in his elbow during the fifth inning of Saturday’s start in Boston.

Baltimore purchased Bill Hall’s contract from Triple-A Norfolk. The 32-yearold Hall, who plays both infield and outfield, will be used to help out in the outfield while Lew Ford recovers from a groin injury.

Hall batted .222 with a home run in seven games with the Orioles earlier this season. McCourt’s ex-wife sues LOS ANGELES — The ex-wife of former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt wants to set aside the couple’s divorce settlement, claiming he vastly understated the value of a team that sold earlier this year for $2 billion, the highest figure ever paid for a pro sports franchise.

Jamie McCourt’s attorney, Bertram Fields, told The Associated Press that she “thought very long and very hard about whether to file this motion” but that after other means failed, she returned to court.

“Mr. McCourt got about 93 percent of the family assets, and Mrs. McCourt got about 7 percent,” Fields said in a phone interview late Tuesday. “We would’ve much preferred to have this massive imbalance resolved with some modification, but we got no response to that approach. We didn’t want to have more family litigation, but now it’s up to the court.”

The motion filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court claims Frank McCourt committed fraud by misrepresenting the couple’s Dodgers assets as worth less than $300 million during their protracted divorce.

Hicks settles DALLAS — Former Texas Rangers owner Tom Hicks has settled a pair of lawsuits related to a failed multimillion-dollar development project near Rangers Ballpark in Arlington

The lawsuits were brought by companies involved in the plans for a 75-acre shopping and restaurant district dubbed GloryPark Town Center. It was envisioned as a destination for visitors to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and neighboring Cowboys Stadium, as well as a draw outside of games.

After several years of work, Hicks had to place the project on hold in 2008 due to problems with financing.
