Arrest: On Wednesday, at 8:58 a.m., Eric Marshall, 30, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstandin­g warrant.

EWING Theft: On Wednesday, at 11:31 a.m., an employee at the Romeco Gas Station on Spruce Street reported that a woman came into the gas station and requested $50 in gas. After the employee pumped the gas, the woman said she only requested $20. When the employee went to speak with his manager, the woman drove away.

BENSALEM, Pa. Theft: On Wednesday, at 5:38 p.m., Luke Mitchell, 28, of Bensalem, was arrested and charged with two counts of retail theft at Boscov’s in Neshaminy Mall.

Disorderly Conduct: On Wednesday, at 2:08 a.m., Elias Obed Gonzalez Salguero, 23, of Bensalem, was arrested on Knights Road and charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkennes­s.

Drunk: On Wednesday, 1:53 a.m., on Bensalem Boulevard, Juan Antonio Loaiza Arvizu, 39, of Trevose, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

PLAINSBORO Hit and Run: On Monday, at 10:50 p.m., a 43-year-old man was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Hunters Glen Drive. The vehicle then fled the scene. Anyone with informatio­n on the incident is urged to contact Patrolman Kevin Lowery at 609-799-2333.

Drunk: On Wednesday, at 3:24 a.m., on Route 1, Jesse Lurito, 25, of Birchrunvi­lle, Pa., was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d.

NEWARK Guilty: A radiologis­t who owned and operated a diagnostic testing center in Orange pleaded guilty Thursday to overseeing a lengthy cash-for-patients scheme with doctors who referred patients to him, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced. Dr. Ashokkumar Babaria, 62, of Moorestown, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Claire C. Cecchi to a charge of offering and paying doctors and other healthcare providers illegal cash kickbacks for patient referrals in violation of the federal healthcare anti-kickback statute.

TRENTON Guilty: The founder and president of Venture Developmen­t Associates Inc., a Farmingdal­e company that presents itself as a provider of corporate financing, on Thursday admitted defrauding an Illinois man out of nearly $50,000, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

Michael Peniston, 54, of Farmingdal­e, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Anne E. Thompson to one count of wire fraud in connection with obtaining nearly $50,000 in a false investment scheme from a victim in La Grange, Ill. As part of his plea agreement, Peniston agreed to pay back nearly $200,000 from a total of four victims.
