PLAINSBORO — Mary Casey, 88, of Plainsboro, passed aw a y peacefully at the Pavillions at Forrestal Skilled Care in Plainsboro. Born in Bayonne, Mrs. Casey had resided at the Pavillions for the past seven years, and prior to that was a resident of Wrightstow­n, for 40 years.

Daughter of the late Wasil “Basil” and Kalina “Anna” (Kajzuscak) Halick, beloved wife of the late George A. Casey, Sr., sister of the late John and Michael Halick, she is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law; Gregory P. Casey and Vilja; George A. Casey, Jr; and Leslie; Charles “Terry” Casey and Donna; Michael “Chris” Casey and Barbara; eight grandchild­ren; Michael Darnell and partner Patricia Hoyt; Dr. Michelle Mason; Katelynne Casey; Sara Casey and partner Steven Revesz; Scott Casey and wife Erika; Brandon Casey and wife Megan; Sean Casey and Meghan Casey; three great-grandchild­ren; Michael Darnell, Jr.; Colin and Dane Casey; a sister; Anne Scheck; a sister-inlaw; Mary Halick; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday (Oct. 1) at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Hamilton, NJ. Burial will be private in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstow­n, NJ. Friends and family may call on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hamilton BrennaCell­ini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercervill­e Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to the Princeton Hospice, 208 Bunn Drive, Princeton, NJ 08540 or to the organizati­on of the donor’s choice.
