Mcnutt tabs two assists as West Windsor-plainsboro North tops Steinert

PLAINSBORO — Morgan Francis connected on two second half goals as West Windsor-Plainsboro North’s field hockey squad won 2-1 over visiting Steinert.

Maura McNutt assisted both Catherine Mak and Julianna Haase on their goals for the Knights. Sara Thomas scored the lone Spartans goal.

ALLENTOWN — Andrea Trentacost­i and Noelle Winston each tallied a goal. Hayley Peterson’s 10 saves were good enough to get the shutout. Hopewell Valley 5,

Nottingham 0 HOPEWELL TWP. — The Bulldogs’ Kelcie Bregenzer scored twice while Gloria Brewster, Catherine Dillingham and Laura Niederer added a goal each. Kristin Olszuk had only one save, but got the shutout.

Pennington 5, Solebury (Pa.) 0 PENNINGTON — Katelyn Smolar led the scoring attack for the Red Raiders with two goals.

Jillian LaPointe made three saves in route to a shutout. Peddie 4, Stuart 0 PRINCETON — Hanna Hauschild tallied twice while Mimi Harraka and Kelly Coyle had a goal apiece for the Falcons. Danielle Rette notched a shutout with two saves.

set shutout. Notre Dame (6-6) 3, Hightstown (4-5) 2 HIGHTSTOWN — The Irish first and second doubles teams won to seal the victory and help their squad improve to 6-6.
