Elizabeth P. Koncz

-

Having completed the work the Lord had given her, Bette Koncz celebrated her homecoming and received her heavenly reward September 27, 2013.

Her accomplishments were vast and varied during her 85 year tenure on Earth, but every action stemmed from her genuine love of all people and her innate desire to use her life as a way to better the lives of others. This truth was evident through her faith as well as her profession. For 50 years, Bette found great pleasure in working as a real estate agent - the joy of helping others achieve their dream of home ownership kept her active well past retirement age. However, Bette found even greater happiness in securing eternal homes for all who crossed her path. Pioneering a city-wide Charismatic prayer group that broke religious boundaries as well as newspaper headlines, Bette led countless lives to the Lord. Many individuals continue to gather in praise and honor to God because of her decades of service and loving example.

Those most rejoicing Bette’s return to glory is her devoted family of three children - daughters Valerie (Steve) and Lynn (Joe) and son Jeff. Six grandchildren also continue her legacy of love - Kristal (Umilo), Matthew, Saundra, Jaci, Brian (Jul) and Jeffrey, along with two great grandchildren, Olivia and Madison. She also leaves her beloved Aunt Marge and sister-inlaw Agnes, both of whom were exceedingly precious to her. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews, many, many ‘dear heart’ friends, particularly Lucille Hibbs and Joyce Wilson, remain to treasure Bette’s extraordinary life.

Bette now resides with her parents, siblings and husband, Ernest in paradise.

The family gives special thanks to Dr. Thomas Blom and his team of Jeanne and Erica - words cannot express our gratitude for your heart and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Capital Assembly of God, 1380 Whitehorse-Hamilton Sq. Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08690. Calling hour at 1 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Capital Assembly of God Children/ Youth Ministry.
