Martinez, Trenton knock off Redbirds

— Goals by Anderson Martinez and Harin Lopez, plus a strong defensive effort helped the Trenton High boys soccer team upset Allentown, 2-1, on the road Tuesday.
Tornadoes goalkeeper Cristian Sandoval made four saves to keep the Redbirds from tying the game after Justin Scarano got the visitors on the board.
WW-P South 2, Princeton 1 PRINCETON —
Goals by Matt Stein and Taylor Chan lifted the Pirates to an upset of the Little Tigers.
Jabril Samatar made 10 saves in net for WW-P South, which held off Princeton after Cole Snyder scored in the second half.
Hopewell Valley 4, Robbinsville 0 ROBBINSVILLE
— Connor Markulec had a hat trick and an assist to pace the Bulldogs’ win against the Ravens.
Owen Clarke and Craig Persing shared time in net for the shutout. Ross Burrows added a goal and an assist.
WW-P North 3, Hamilton 0 HAMILTON
— Bobby Costa had a goal and an assist, while Melvin Sapon assisted on scores by Matt Grust and John Bartell to carry the Northern Knights back to .500.
WW-P North goalkeeper Tipu Shah made seven saves to earn the shutout.
New Egypt 8, Florence 1 FLORENCE —
Travis Ward scored four times, while Nick Sample added a goal and two assists to power the Warriors past the Flashes.
Amandip Kahler scored in the second half for Florence.
