The Trentonian (Trenton, NJ)

William Estepp of Staten Island, NY (formerly of Trenton area)

-

William Estepp, 39, of Staten Island, NY, passed away suddenly of natural causes at home.

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, William had resided in New York for the past year with his fiancée.

He was a graduate of Nottingham High School Class of 1994. After continuing his education and working his way up in the trade that he loved, he recently began a new endeavor as Chief Engineer at the Sheraton Four Points in the Financial District in Manhattan, NY.

The quick-witted and charming William enjoyed writing, drawing, building, completing crossword puzzles wearing his newly obtained hipster glasses, and reading. He also enjoyed a new found passion of wine making with his future father-in-law Tony and had high hopes that their latest batch would premier at the next Catalina Wine Mixer. His passion for learning and obtaining knowledge was a daily habit that led him to the pursuit of perfection, at least in his opinion.

He was engaged to be married this August and leaves behind his devastated fiancée Laura Coppa. William was a loving fiancé, brother, son, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed by all those who had the honor of knowing him. His dashing good looks, perfect hair, cryptic sense of humor, tenacious dance moves, infectious laugh and gigantic heart are all things that will be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

William is predeceased by his brother, Adam Estepp; he is survived by his parents, Gary Estepp and Lorraine Sweeney; stepmother, Janet; his beloved fiancée Laura Coppa; his brother, Eric Estepp and wife Jessica; his future inlaws Tony and Maryann Coppa, and future sister-inlaw Joanna Galizia; his sister Amber; his sister-in-law Joanne; his adoring aunt, Mary Merola and extended Merola family including his “twin” Desi; his five nieces, Ashley, Brielle, Edison, Olivia, Helena, and a nephew John; his closest friends and brothers, Justin Wright, Adam Maul, and William (Billy) Barkholz III and the countless others that were near and dear to his heart especially his blue ribbon kitty, Topanga Melissa Estepp-Coppa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State St., Ext., Hamilton, NJ. Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Gordon Rd., Robbinsville, NJ. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m., and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 WhitehorseMercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
