Three Irish drive in runs to beat Hightstown

HIGHTSTOWN >> Joe Kitlas hit a two-run double to lead Notre Dame to a 4-2 win Tuesday over Hightstown.

Xavier Lezynski went 2-for-3 with an RBI and while Riley Schmitt added an RBI for Notre Dame. Andon Parascando threw six scoreless innings and gave up three hits, struck out six, and walked three to earn the win.

David Jasper and Matt Mankowich each had an RBI for Hightstown.

TOmmy McParland went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Not- tingham.

Anderson also drove in two runs. Nate Perez had three hits with two RBI for Trenton Catholic.

John Kinnerman drove an RBI while striking out five in a losing effort. COLUMBUS >> The unbeaten Greyhounds (3-0) had 15 hits in the game, including Shawn Allen and Zack Wright’s homers.

Jacob Powell and Aaron Stollsteim­er knocked in a run apiece in the loss.
