If alleged Utah rapists used them then they should lose them

The headline grabs your attention.

Four Utah men accused of raping a 9-yearold girl on Easter as mom allegedly smoked meth.

Police said the mother left her daughter alone with the men in the house as she and a friend got high in the garage.

The men allegedly raped and sodomized the girl. All four men were charged with one count each of both felonies.

So, the Split Decision question this week asks what should be the punishment if all four men are found guilty.

First, no report exists that police arrested this outstanding mother who endangered the welfare of her daughter. This is not having your daughter abducted from a home or park.

“I want justice taken care of. I want hard-core punishment for what they have done to this child, because that shouldn’t happen to anybody,” the girl’s grandmother told Fox 13 in Salt Lake City.

One woman’s hard-core is another man’s gonadectomy. No doubt, that’s never been said or written before even by the most whacked out of humans.

Let’s start with chemical or physical castration although a claim of cruel and unusual punishment will rise up from every American Civil Liberties Union.

Four guys assaulting a 9-year-old girl sounds unusually heinous and unusual.

Here’s the choices for 36-year-old Larson James Rondeau, Josiah Rondeau, 20, Jerry Flatlip, 29, and 26-year-old Randall Flatlip.

Well, fellas. Here’s your choices.

Castration plus 25 years in prison or a straight-line incarceration for 50. If either man prefers a self-imposed death penalty then they can exercise that right.

Let’s not forget Mommy Meth who apparently has a serious drug addiction but deserves time behind bars for neglect. The state should recommend in-patient drug rehabilitation, a five-year prison term and temporary loss of parental rights.

Currently, the young girl rests in state custody.

One can imagine the amount of care this child will need to gain any semblance of emotional stability.

One more note.

Reports have not identified the accused nationalities but if the four men are Spanish-speaking and reside in the U.S. without papers then GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump will wield this incident like a sword to continue talk about deportation and building a wall.
