Betty Jean Sellers, age 67, of Ewing passed away on April 3, 2016.

She was born in Princeton, NJ.

Betty attended the Princeton Public School System, graduating from Princeton High School in 1966. After graduation Betty went on to attend the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah and Douglass College in New Brunswick, NJ. She became a Certified Paralegal in 1980.

During the 1970s through the 1990s and until she retired, Betty worked consistent­ly: Department of Energy (Administra­tive Assistant); U.S. News & World Report; and the Joint Center for Political & Economic Studies.

She was a member of the JAZZY DIVAS Princeton Chapter of the RHI, Inc. and participat­ed in the Princeton Nubian Gatherings.

Predecease­d by her parents George and Thelma Lockhart Sellers; her companion of 23 years David Conn; her sisters Esther Sellers and Dorothy Sellers Still.

Betty leaves to mourn her passing, and to cherish her memory her sister Gracie L. Montgomery (Robert) of Ewing, NJ; her two nephews, Tab Anthony Still (Trenton, NJ) and Raymond Lewis Still, Sr. (Hartford. Conn.); a niece, Monica Lynn Aguelle (Atose) of Cape Town, So. Africa; a grandnephe­w, Raymond Still, Jr. (Connecticu­t); four grandniece­s, Aimisi, Esivie, Edia, and Emade, all of South Africa; a host of cousins and family members, community constituen­ts, and many friends.

Funeral service will be noon on Friday, April 8, 2016, at St. John’s Baptist Church, 70 Oregon Ave., Ewing, NJ. Calling hours will be 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment Princeton Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
