Clarence Zell Willis Jr. age 68, departed this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Hamilton NJ.

Born in Trenton he was a lifelong resident.

He attended the Trenton Public School System.

Clarence was a superior track star in his school days. He was a standing member of the Original Cavaliers drill unit. As well as, a member of the King David Lodge and the Bomber Social Club.

Clarence’s employment included De Laval Turbine Co, PJ Pancakes, and The NJ State Department of Labor, from which he retired.

He spent many years bartending at various city bars.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Z. Willis Sr. and Jannie L. Willis, his only son Kevin E. Willis Sr. and his best friend Bobby White.

He is survived by his wife Stan Willis; his sisters Hazel Holloway (Sterling) and Eveleen Lofting (Victor) of St. Petersburg, FL., his three daughters, Juanika Willis, Monae Hicks, and Lakisha Tillery-Williams (Kenneth), all of Trenton, NJ; an adopted son Karl Williams (Loretta); 11 grandchild­ren; 11 great grandchild­ren; his goddaughte­r Aisha and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday April 30, 2016 at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church, 30 Wayne Ave., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery.
