Carlo D’Alesio of Hopewell

Carlo D’Alesio, 83, of Hopewell, NJ, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at home.

Born in Guardiagrele, Italy, he resided in Hopewell, NJ, for the past 50 years.

Carlo retired in 1995 after 10 years from the General Motors Corporation, Ewing Township, NJ. He was formerly employed for 25 years as a Mason with Everlasting Terrazzo Company, Trenton, NJ.

Son of the late Rocco and Maria D’Alesio; husband of the late Evelyn Pielice D’Alesio; brother of the late Dominick D’Alesio and Carmela D’Alesio; he is survived by his beloved wife, Delfina Tattoni Scardelletti D’Alesio; a son Rocco A. D’Alesio; two step-sons and their spouses, Rico and Donna Scardelletti and Bruno and Glynis Scardelletti; a daughter -in-law, Jennifer Jopko; his grandchildren, William D’Alesio and his wife Britt, Marietta Gordan and her husband Sean, Erica, Anthony, Michael, Rebecca, and Abigail Scardelletti; and many nieces, nephews, greatnieces, greatnephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning, September 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Saint George Catholic Church, 1370 River Road, Titusville, NJ. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell, NJ.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until Mass time at Saint George Catholic Church.
