Ewing

Bombs away: Someone phoned in a bomb threat Thursday morning at Ewing High School – the second one in the last week, police said. Police were called to the 900Parkway Avenue School shortly after 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning. The school, housing about 1,100 students, was evacuated and officials alerted parents while officers swept the building and determined there was no threat, Ewing Police Capt. Rocco Maruca said. Parents were told to stay away from the school and not pick up their children while police investigat­ed the bomb scare. School administra­tors got the all-clear around 1p.m., the police captain said. Maruca did not believe classes were canceled over the latest bomb scare, which comes about a week after someone phone in another threat last week. School officials were not immediatel­y available for comment. Police are investigat­ing the threats but have not determined whether they are linked or who may be behind them.

Montgomery

Drunk: A woman who was belligeren­tly drunk outside of a convenienc­e store was arrested and charged for driving under the influence, police said. Eileen Bradley, 58, of Skillman, was rung up on charges of DUI and having an unsealed alcoholic beverage in her car after police said she was visibly impaired outside of a Wawa convenienc­e store around 7:40 p.m. on Sept. 19, police said. Police were sent to the gas station and confronted Bradley, who admitted driving blitzed to the Wawa, police said. She was taken into custody, booked and processed on the charges. Her vehicle was towed. She has a court date in Montgomery Towship Municipal Court.

Drunk: Kimberly Kurtin, 52, of Skillman was stopped on Route 601 after police saw her swerving over the double yellow lines and almost crashing into a utility pole in her 2016 BMW, police said. She showed signs of being drunk and admitted drinking prior to getting behind the wheel. Kurtin was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to maintain a lane, after performing poorly on field sobriety tests. Her vehicle was towed from the scene. At Headquarte­rs, Kurtin was charged with DWI and failure to maintain lane. She was released to a family member and has a court date in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

Falls Township

Theft: Jason Rodgers, 30, of Bensalem, was arrested and charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing from the Hope Depot. Drugs: Megan Dunn, 23, of Morrisvill­e was arrested for alleged drug possession of drug parapherna­lia. Theft: Kevin Pugh, 38, of Feastervil­le, was arrested and charged with unlawful taking. He posted $25,000 bail to secure his release. Not the Best Buy: James Peele, 29, and Wayne Sylvester, 45, both of Brooklyn, were arrested and charged with device fraud and related charges. They are accuse of using credit cards to buy hundreds of dollars of merchandis­e from the Best Buy. Their bails were set at $50,000 each and they were sent to county lockup.

Lower Makefield

Attempted credit card fraud: 600 block of Leslie Lane reported at 10:48 a.m. on Sept. 15. Complainan­t reported unknown person attempted to use their credit card in Washington, D.C. Burglary: Glen Drive reported at 7:54 p.m. on Sept. 15. Complainan­t reported that sometime between 5 and 7:30 p.m. unknown person(s) entered the unoccupied, unlocked residence and removed $10,000 worth of jewelry. Retail theft: 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 8:53p.m. on Sept. 15. Loss Prevention reported theft of $158.15worth of merchandis­e by two white females. The investigat­ion is ongoing. Wanted person: Philadelph­ia Police took a 23year old man from Philadelph­ia in custody on an outstandin­g warrant from Lower Makefield for retail theft and receiving stolen property. The man was wanted for the Sept. 3 theft of a Kitchen Aid mixer from Kohl’s. He was taken into police custody on Sept. 15, arraigned by District Justice Burns and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $100,000/10 percent bail. Fraud: 600 block of Stony Hill Road at Rite Aid reported at 7:58 p.m. on Sept. 14. The store manager reported an unknown man was exchanging money with and confusing the cashier. Several bills were exchanged for change and the drawer was $72short.
