Mother Eva Mae Thomas of Robbinsville
Mother Eva Mae Thomas, 92, departed this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton, NJ.
Born in McCall, SC and raised in Crescent City, FL, Mother Thomas resided in Robbinsville, NJ for over 55 years.
She was the Overseer and Sr. Pastor of Emmanuel Pentecostal Temple in Robbinsville, NJ.
Mother Thomas worked for the Home Care Council of New Jersey and the State Association of Homemakers and Health Aides. She was the president of the City Wide Missionary Department for 14 years and a member of the Women of Faith Ministries, founded by Pastor JoAnn Wilson.
Wife of the late Bishop H.J. Thomas, she was the youngest of 12 children born to the late Frank and Catherine Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Pastor Dr. Dorothy Jackson (Loris); one granddaughter, Yvonne Scarborough; three greatgrandsons, Glen Johnson (Jan), Jonathan Johnson (Evelyn) and Ryan Johnson (Nae Nae); nine great-great grandchildren; Mother was tremendously blessed to have over (43) god-children, who are all saved and a god-daughter since birth; Pastor Patricia Penix-McEachern and a host of family and friends.
Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016, from 6-8 p.m., at Emmanuel Pentecostal Temple, 203 Hutchinson Road, Robbinsville, NJ 08691
Home going service will be held on Saturday, October, 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. with calling hours, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Church. Interment will be at Princeton Memorial Cemetery Robbinsville, NJ.
Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton, NJ.
