Hit-and-run: The Trenton Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a vehicle involved in a hit-andrun crash. Police said that the car struck a person near the corner of South Broad and Dye Streets on October 23 around 7:40p.m. The vehicle is described as a black car that will have headlight and hood damage. The car was last seen heading east on Hamilton Avenue from Route 129. Anyone who may have informatio­n is asked to call Trenton Police Det, Craig Kirk or any Criminal Investigat­ion Bureau at (609) 989-4155. Heroin arrest: On Tuesday around 9:35p.m. Street Crimes Roberto Paula, 24, of Trenton

found to contain 25bricks of heroin for a total of 1,249 packets of heroin stamped “black first 48.” Trenton Police Lt. Rolando Ramos said that Paula was charged with manufactur­ing and distributi­on, intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1000feet of a school, intent to distribute within 500feet of a park, possession of cocaine, unlicensed driver and operating a motor vehicle in possession of CDS. His bail informatio­n was not immediatel­y known.

Unit Detectives Stuart Owens and Crystal Everett arrested Roberto Paula, 24, of Trenton after they received informatio­n that he may be driving around with a large amount of narcotics in the area of Donelly Homes. The detectives spotted his blue Honda Civic in the area of the Calhoun and West Hanover Streets and looked to find a suitable place to stop Paula. The detectives then stopped him in the 300block of West State Street. Detective Owens approached the left side while Detective Everett approached the right side of the car, and observed Paula move an orange bag from below the front passenger seat to the rear passenger floor. Detective Everett illuminate­d the interior of the vehicle with her flashlight which exposed a number of glassine packets in the orange bag. At that point Paula was removed from the vehicle. The bag was also removed and
