Frank “Marco” Polo, 71, of Hamilton Township passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, Hamilton Township.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he resided in the Chambersbu­rg Section of Trenton for many years before moving to Hamilton.

Frank also known as Marco Polo owned and operated several hair salons throughout the Trenton area. He was later employed by several area hair salons here and in Atlantic City, NJ. Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Trenton Counsel # 355 and a 4th Degree Knight with the Bishop Griffin Assembly. Frank enjoyed dinning out, singing, dancing and spending time at the beach in Atlantic City, but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends.

Son of the late Frank Polo, Sr.; uncle of the late Victor O. Stancati, Jr.; he is survived by his loving mother, Lucy Tazza Polo; his beloved wife of sixteen years, Mary R. Marrone-Polo; his son Mark Polo, Sr. and his companion Marleny, and his son, Justin Koczrowski; his loving sister and brother-inlaw, Maryann and Victor Stancati; his aunt, Virginia Tazza; his brother-in-law, Samuel J. Marrone and his wife Anna; his niece, Dawn Stancati Scheerer and her husband Richard; his nephews Mark A. Stancati, Samuel M. Marrone and Anthony M. Marrone; his grandchild­ren, Marisa Cartegena, Mark Polo, Jr., Alyssa Polo and Samuel Polo; a great-grandson, Milo Cartegena; his former wife, Mary Manfredo-Polo; and several great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and many friends He is also survived by his canine companion “Bandit”.

The funeral will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. from the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Road, Hamilton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels/ Saint Joachim’s Church, 2055 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ. Entombment will follow in Saint Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Sunday evening, February 26, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel.
