Carol O. Hart, 82, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Greenwood House in Ewing, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Trenton, Carol was a lifelong resident.

Carol was a homemaker, and an executive assistant for the State of New Jersey, Office of Administra­tive Law, where she retired in 2000 after 18 years. She spent the last 10 years of her life working with her family at Associatio­n Associates, Inc. as a purchasing agent.

She was a graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 1952, a member of Sacred Heart Church and Cathedral Alumni Associatio­n. She was the Queen Mother of the Red Hat Jersey Tomatoes, and belonged to Club Class of ‘52, a group of high school girlfriend­s that has been getting together once a month for over 50 years.

Carol enjoyed traveling all around the world with her husband, sisters and friends including many, many trips to Atlantic City for which she was nicknamed “AC”, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and 7 precious grandchild­ren.

Daughter of the late Warren W. and Mary Frascella Orpen, wife of the late David L. Hart, sister of the late Cheri E. Ott and Aline C. Orpen, motherin-law of the late Michael Gibbons, and sister-in-law of the late Richard D. Latella and Robert F. Ott, she is survived by four daughters and three sons-inlaw, Debbie Hart and husband Robert Peden of Robbinsvil­le, Donna Gibbons of Hamilton, Doreen and Thomas Stettner of Bordentown, and Dana and Mark Sacco of Hamilton Square; seven grandchild­ren Patrick and Matthew Gibbons, Kacie and Kristin Stettner, Kailie, Courtney, and Joseph Sacco; one sister, Mary Latella of Hamilton; one sister-in-law, Kay Hendricks and husband Bill of The Villages, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, one great great niece, one great great nephew, cousins, and many dear friends.

Funeral will be held Friday morning at 8:15 AM at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 343 S. Broad St. in Trenton.

Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar Lane in Hamilton.
