Domestic Violence: Terry Samuel, 18, was arrested Monday after he allegedly punched and strangled his 17-year-old girlfriend. The victim told police they were having a verbal argument when he punched her in the face, then grabbed her by the throat and sprayed her with mace. Samuel had fled by the time police arrived. But while cops were talking to the victim, Samuel called her and said he was on Woodside Avenue, where police later apprehended him. Bottle Attack: Eric Hartman, 28, and Zofia Chmielinski,
19, were arrested after Hartman allegedly shattered a bottle over the top of another man’s head. The victim told police he and Chmielinski used to be in a dating relationship, and that Hartman hit him in the head with a bottle during an argument near the corner of Chestnut Avenue and Swan Street. Hartman fled after the attack and later gave police a false name when they encountered him in the 500block of Chestnut. Chmielinski was arrested in connection with outstanding
warrants. Hartman was charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses and hindering apprehension. The victim received several stitches to close wounds on the side of his head and ear.
Two-hour Crime Spree: Andrew Feole, 30, was arrested after he allegedly burglarized a home and a car Monday morning. Officials say Feole burglarized a Clay Street home around 9:45a.m. and woke a male resident who then chased him out of the house. Then around 11 a.m., police were dispatched to Grand Street after the owner of a vehicle found Feole sitting inside his car. Feole is charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespassing. Burglary: Azriah Ellerbe, 26, was arrested after he allegedly burglarized an apartment in the 300block of East State Street.
Heroin Bust: Dayshawn Camp, 27, was arrested Monday night after police allegedly found him in possession of 49decks of heroin, five grams of crack cocaine, five grams of marijuana and $415 in cash, which was seized as suspected drug proceeds. Officials say Camp was a passenger in a car, and that he had marijuana in plain view as he began shoving other drugs into his pockets upon seeing police.

Drugs and Driving with Kid: Stephanie Mackiewicz, 35, was arrested after police allegedly found her in possession of heroin, prescription pills and a hypodermic needle during a traffic stop on Sharon Road. In addition to drug offenses, she was charged with endangering the welfare of a child because a kid was in the car as well.
Lumber Theft: Approximately $368worth of construction lumber was stolen from a property located in the 100 Block of Hankins Road. Drugs and Driving Too: Nicholas Schiaretti, 45, was arrested when police allegedly found him in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after stopping him on Route 33 for having a cracked windshield.
DWI: William Van Hise Jr., 57, of Hamilton, was arrested for drunk driving after police stopped him for recklessness on Route 526. Police say Hise was also driving without vehicle insurance.
Littering Pot Bust: Ronald Woodward Jr., 25, of Linden, was arrested after police found him in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on Route 33. Police initially stopped Woodward for improper maintenance of lamps and littering.
