Maryann Louise (Fisher) Santilla, 87 of Trenton passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday; May 21, 2017 with her devoted family at her side.

Predecease­d by her mother, Ann Fisher, stepfather, Thomas C. “Blackie” Chell, brother, Arthur R. Fisher, and beloved husband, Frederick Santilla, she is survived by her son and daughterin-law, Michael and Ann (Solimando) Santilla, her grandson, Paul Santilla and her childhood friend Joan Thompson DeAngelo.

She attended Cathedral High School. After high school, she was employed for several years at Westinghou­se Corp. She eventually became the bookkeeper for her husband’s waste removal business, and subsequent­ly their property rental business.

Maryann loved to play Bingo, often going two or three times a week. She also enjoyed going to Atlantic City with the Senior Citizens group at the former St. Michael’s Church in Trenton and went to Las Vegas twice on trips organized by the Knights of Columbus.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, as well as the holidays with her extended family, especially Carmen Solimando, his mother, the late Ida Solimando, and the Goslin family. Her family wishes to thank all of the associates and volunteers of Holy Redeemer Hospice who compassion­ately assisted in her care, as well as her primary caregiver, Kim.

Funeral Service will be held Friday; May 26, 2017, 11:00am at the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 South Broad Street (Rte 206), South Trenton, NJ 08611 (parking facility and handicap access located directly behind the funeral home). Visiting hours will be held Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:00am11:00am. Interment; St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton Township. In lieu of flowers the family respectful­ly requests memorial contributi­ons to be made in her honor to Holy Redeemer HomeCare and Hospice, P O Box 441, Trenton, NJ 08603. Arrangemen­ts under the auspices of David C. Chiacchio and the dedicated staff of the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home.
