Robert E. Lamson

Robert E. Lamson, 83, passed away at home on May 22, 2017 with his family by his side.

Born and raised in Bordentown, he was a resident of the area all of his life. He was a Bordentown High School graduate of 1952 and is a member of the School’s Hall of Fame.

Robert was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War and was a retired Iron Worker with the Local #68. He was a member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085. His family was very dear to him. He hardly missed an outing or sporting event with his children and grandchildren and he will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Helen Lamson, his brother, John “Chick” Lamson and his beloved wife, Delores Lamson (nee Prokop) he is survived by four daughters: Debra Runyan and her husband Joseph of Riverton, Kim Lamson of Edmonds, WA, Patricia Kehr and her husband Newell of Florence and Jacqueline Benyon of Hamilton, 10 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.

Funeral Services will be 3:30 pm Thursday, May 25 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon from 2 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
