Shirley Bouchelle Budassi, 87, of Trenton

Shirley Bouchelle Budassi, 87, of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Greenwood House, Ewing Township, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong Trenton resident.

Mrs. Budassi retired after 40 years, from the US Postal Service, Hamilton Township, NJ, and was a charter member of the Hamilton YMCA.

Daughter of the late Nathaniel Bouchelle, wife of the late Stephen P. Budassi, and sister of the late Charles Bouchelle, and Reba Moffatt, she is survived by her son, Stephen G. Budassi, and his companion, Lynne Capik, her daughter, Susan B. Sheehy, a brother and sister-in-law, Nathaniel and Shirley Bouchelle, three grandchildren, John Sheehy, and Alyssa and John Capik, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 11 a.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Road, Hamilton Township, NJ.

The Clergy of Our Lady of the Angels Parish will officiate.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Trenton Animal Shelter, 72 Escher Street, Trenton, NJ 08609, or the Hamilton Animal Shelter, 2100 Sylvan Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
