Trenton

Heroin Bust: Maurice Steppe, 29, was arrested for heroin possession Wednesday by members of the Street Crimes Unit. Officials say cops were patrolling when they saw Steppe loitering near an abandoned building. When Steppe saw police, officials say, he started to walk in the opposite direction and then ran. During the chase, Steppe allegedly tossed heroin onto the ground and kept running. Police eventually caught Steppe on East State Street and confiscate­d $585 when they searched him.

Commercial Burglary: Someone burglarize­d the Metro PCS store on Willow Bend Drive and stole one of the cash drawers. Police say the suspect gained entry by breaking the store’s front window.

Spray Paint and BB Gun: Three juveniles were arrested after police found them vandalizin­g Fasolino Field on Saratoga Avenue. Police say the kids spray painted areas at the field, then fled. Cops found them near Parkway and Farrell avenues. Officials say the kids possessed cans of spray paint, and one of them possessed a BB gun.

Park Fight: Two juveniles were arrested after a group of kids were found fighting in Moody Park on Buttonwood Drive. No serious injuries were reported.

Arson Theft: The manager at PNC Bank on North Olden Avenue told police someone became angry when their deposit wouldn’t process and threatened to burn down the bank multiple times.

Shopliftin­g: Anthony Jackson, 29, from Trenton, was arrested for allegedly stealing merchandis­e from Home Depot.

Poppin’ Tags: Djennie Charles, 23, and Manouchek Louis, 28, both from Trenton, were arrested after they allegedly ripped alarm sensors off clothes, then stuffed them inside their handbags before trying to flee Forman Mills.

Pemberton

Aggravated Assault: A 31-year-old man was found lying on the ground suffering from stab wounds at the Pine Grove shopping plaza Monday. The victim - identified as Paul Warner Jr. - was stabbed multiple times in his back. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatenin­g injuries, and is now in critical but stable condition.

Princeton

Home Burglary: Someone stole silver and other items out of a home located in the 200 block of Jefferson Road.

Fraud: David Lucas, 34, of Jersey City, was arrested after he allegedly tried to open a $19,000 line of credit using someone else’s identity at Hamilton Jewelers on Nassau Street. He is charged with unlawful use of credit cards, identity theft and hindering apprehensi­on.

Bristol, Pa.

Home Burglary: Someone stole copper and light fixtures, and damaged the door frame, ceiling fan and drywall in a home in the 5600 block of Toga Street. The loss and damage is estimated at $400.

Missing Package: AUPS package containing memorial candles was stolen from outside a home in the 1100 block of Newportvil­le Road. The loss is estimated at $100.

Stolen AC: A window air conditioni­ng unit valued at $300 was stolen from the 100 block of Stream Lane.

Bike Theft: A bicycle valued at $400 was stolen from the 200 block of Goldenridg­e Drive.

Missing Batteries: Approximat­ely $1,600 worth of batteries were stolen out of constructi­on equipment that was parked on Bartram Road.
