Dorothy C. Rogers-Burroughs, of Ewing

Dorothy C. Rogers-Burroughs, 81, of Ewing, went home to glory on August 28, 2017 at Capital Regional Medical Center – Fuld.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Dorothy graduated from Trenton Central High School. Thereafter, she attended nursing school. She worked for several hospitals in the Trenton area and retired from Mt. Carmel Day Care Center after 29 years of service.

Dorothy was a member of Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries in Trenton since 1991. She was a former member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Trenton.

Predeceased by her parents, Carrie and Robert Rogers, Sr. and beloved husband, Alfred Leon Burroughs, Sr., Dorothy leaves to cherish precious memories her son, Alfred Leon Burroughs Jr.; daughter, Pamela Ann Burroughs; daughter-in-law, Sally Burroughs; two grandchildren, Christina (Matt) and Sarah; six great grandchildren, Sabrina, Jasmine, Tyler, Xavier, Alexander, and Sarah; one brother, Robert Rogers Jr.; one brother-in- law, John Burroughs; two sisters-inlaw, Yvonne Burroughs and Ann Burroughs; two aunts, Agnes Massey and Audrey Braxton; three godchildren, Sondra Graham, Wayne Fisher, and Desmond Ingram Jr.; two lifelong friends, Ada Fisher and Vilicia Golden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries, 1217 Calhoun Street, Trenton, NJ. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 am at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
