CVC PLAYERS TO WATCH
Julie Cane, Hopewell >> Enters her senior campaign having posted 28 goals and 28 assists over the last two years. Devon Lis, Princeton >> Got 13 goals as a junior and with the support around her she should best that number for a pretty good Little Tigers team.
Megan Drum, Notre Dame >> Next in line to have a breakout season for the Irish. Scored eight and set up seven as a junior.
Vanessa Rodriguez, Allentown >> Introduced herself to the CVC with 10 goals as a freshman and being deployed as an attacking mid this season should allow her to see more of the ball.
Jillian Pelosi, WW-PN >> If the Knights are going to be a sleeper, they’ll need Pelosi at the top of her game. She notched nine goals as a sophomore. Jamie Skarupsky, Robbinsville >> Was in terrific from during the Ravens’ run to the Central Group 2 title and returns as the CVC’s top goalkeeper.
1. Pennington >> Red Raiders angry they didn’t get any hardware last season.
2. Steinert >> Trophy or bust.
