Colin Kaepernick
I just found a new job for Colin Kaepernick. Why doesn’t he go down to Texas and help out with the hurricane effort, maybe assist first responders, the national guard, air force, police or neighbors who lost everything. He has so much to say about racial injustice, he should take a look how people are helping each other down in Texas and Louisiana, no matter what color, religion, gender, etc.
As a matter of fact, any football payer that takes a knee during the national anthem — after seeing this disaster and how people are coming together, putting their lives on the line to save others — should be ashamed of themselves. Perhaps they should be the ones down there seeing first hand what real life is all about. — Not a fan
I’m still confused as to why people are so upset about a sportsball player quietly protesting an oppressive government. It’s not personally directed toward you. — Ed Note
Illegal parking
Recently, I read in The Trentonian that Mayor Jackson complained that the TPD was not enforcing laws regarding illegally parked vehicles (parked on the opposite side of the street). He should drive around neighboring Hamilton. It might make him feel better about his own police force. It’s hard to drive down any street in Hamilton without seeing cars parked on the wrong side of the street. I guess Mayor Yaede doesn’t get out much. — A Hamiltonian
Both towns have more critical needs to address than cars parked the wrong way.
