Allentown blanks Notre Dame
ALLENTOWN » A first-half score by Sam Togna and an own goal gave the Allentown High boys soccer team all the offense it would need to get past Notre Dame High, 2-0, in the first round of the Mercer County Tournament Thursday.
Chris Reeder made three saves to earn the shutout.
The sixth-seeded Redbirds advance to play at third-seeded Princeton at 1 p.m. Saturday.
