Heroin and Pot: Jaquan Vines, 30, was arrested Tuesday morning after detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit allegedly found him in possession of 758 decks of heroin, two grams of marijuana and $1,072 in cash, which was seized as suspected drug proceeds. Officials say detectives were in the 200 block of Prospect Street when they saw Vines carrying a white plastic bag, which he tossed on the ground when he saw cops. Further investigation revealed the bag contained heroin.

Domestic Violence: Tiara Robbins, 31, was arrested Tuesday in connection with an incident that happened October 23, when she allegedly tried to stab her ex-boyfriend. Officials say Robbins became angry at the man after their 10-year relationship ended and she learned he had a new girlfriend. Police say Robbins knocked on the man’s front door and yelled, “Come out here b***h.” Then, when he opened the door, officials say, Robbins tried to stab

him with a butcher knife. The victim managed to close the door on Robbins without being stab, but then she walked to his car and scratched the word “B***h” in the hood of the vehicle. Warrants were issued for Robbins arrest after the incident, and cops apprehended her this week.

Pills and Coke: Andre Lane, 46, was arrested after police allegedly found him in possession of 31 Oxycodone pills, a small amount of marijuana and a quantity of cocaine. Officials say cops encountered Lane after seeing him driving a gold Honda that had a fake license plate. Further investigation revealed the drugs. Cops also seized $810 as suspected proceeds from drug sales, and towed his car.

BB Gun and Ski Mask: Michael Mickins, 24, was arrested around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday after police found him on a street corner wearing a ski mask with a BB gun in his rear pocket. Officials say cops were sent to the intersection of Anderson and College streets after a concerned citizen reported a man with a gun and a mask was trying to rob people. Mickins allegedly told police he was wearing the ski mask because it was cold outside. He didn’t have an excuse for carrying the BB gun. Police say there has been an increase in the amount of people robbing citizens with fake guns that appear real, which is why people carrying BB guns and paintball guns may be arrested.

BB Gun and Heroin: Jaquan Tillery, 19, was arrested Tuesday evening after police allegedly found him in possession of a BB gun and six decks of heroin. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit encountered Tillery near the intersection of Walnut and Chambers, and that he became nervous and kept looking over his shoulder at police as he walked away. Further investigation revealed the gun and drugs.
