Get Ready for Thanksgiving with Pie & Wine at Terhune Orchards

Pie Sampling Weekend and More Than Just Wine Trail, Nov. 11-12

It just isn’t Thanksgiving without pie on the holiday table. Every family member has a favorite pie flavor-or two. Terhune Orchards freshly bakes over twenty kinds of pies and crisps during the holiday season to suit all tastes. Choose from pumpkin, apple, pecan, coconut custard, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb and many more traditional flavors to satisfy your family members and guests.

Visit the Terhune Orchards Pie Sampling Weekend on Nov. 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. -5 p.m. for a complimentary taste of our pie selection to choose your favorites. Place holiday pie orders in advance and pick up freshly baked right before the holiday. Fill out an order form in the farm store, at the Trenton Farmers Market or by phone at 609-924-2310.

While you are at the farm for Pie Sampling Weekend, be sure to visit the winery tasting room located in our historic red barn. Terhune Orchards is participating in the Vintage North Jersey “More Than Just Wine” wine trail weekend on Nov. 11 -12 from 12-5 p.m. Enjoy tastings of our award winning red, white and fruit wines crafted from our own vineyards and orchard. Throughout the weekend, we will be pairing our wines with delicious treats from local gourmet food purveyors. Get comfortable and sip a cup of hot mulled wine as you fill out a pie order form. Allow the winery staff to recommend the perfect wine pairing to complement your holiday meal and dessert course.

Holiday pies preordered during pie sampling weekend may be picked up at the farm store on Sun. Nov. 21 and Mon. Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. The farm store will stay open late until 7 p.m. on Tues, Nov. 21 and Wed. Nov 22, for pie pickups and holiday shopping. On Thanksgiving Day, the farm store will be open 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for pies, desserts, apple cider and other holiday trimmings.

We always have a wide assortment of pies at the farm store to choose from throughout the holiday week, but recommend ordering ahead to guarantee that you get exactly what you want.
