Deborah A. Zook, 65, of Hamilton passed away on Thursday November 9, 2017 in RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton with her loving family by her side.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.

Deborah retired from the State of New Jersey, Dept. of Environmen­tal Protection with over 25 years of service. She was very proud to be the first woman President of the Cook Athletic Associatio­n. In her spare time she enjoyed taking care of her plants, making her famous meatballs, which gave her the nickname of meatball Nan. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchild­ren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Daughter of the late Leon and Helen Dworak Zytczak, wife of the late Thomas D. Zook, Jr., she is survived by her three children and their spouses, Thomas D. and Lisa Zook of Chesterfie­ld, Jennifer and David Wheeler, and Stacey and Edward Leigh all of Hamilton; one brother and his spouse, Richard and Shannon Zytczak, two sisters, Diane Laurenti and her spouse Brian, and Elizabeth Pontoriero; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Magrino and Marianne Keane and her spouse John Keane; 8 grandchild­ren, Nicole, Dominick, Alicia, Meagan, David, Eddie, Madison, and Nico; one great grandson Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Buklad-Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. A brief prayer service will be held at 12 p.m. with local clergy officiatin­g. Burial will be private and at the convenienc­e of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributi­ons may be made in honor of her Granddaugh­ter Nicole to the Multiple Sclerosis Associatio­n of America National Headquarte­rs, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
