GIANT FACTS: Orleans Darkwa is third among NFL running backs with a big-play percentage of 8.9 (rushes that gain 15 yards or more) . ... Evan Engram leads all rookie tight ends in receptions (41), yards (452) and touchdowns (5) . ... The Giants’ defense is tied with Oakland for last in the NFL with 14 sacks on the season. Last year, the unit finished tied for 14th in the league with 35 in only six more games.

The Prediction: Was the Giants’ upset of the Chiefs the start of what Ben McAdoo called a chance to “flip the script,” or simply fool’s gold similar to when New York mustered the effort at 0-5 to beat Denver in Week 6, only to lose three more in a row? We’re guessing somewhere in between. The Redskins are reeling after blowing a 15-point fourth-quarter lead to the Saints and losing running back Chris Thompson for the season. With a quick turnaround, the Giants ride their momentum for at least one more week. Washington falls to the brink of elimination from playoff contention. GIANTS 20, REDSKINS 17.
