Lyn D. Boas of Mount Holly
Lyn D. Boas of Mount Holly, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 after a long illness. She was 65.
Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late John S. & Evelyn St. Clair Denworth, Lyn grew up in Mount Holly and was a graduate of Rancocas Valley Reg. High School. She was a graduate of Burlington County College and Thomas Jefferson and earned her Masters from Villanova University. She was a nurse at various hospitals in Philadelphia and at Virtua in Mount Holly and later taught LPNs at BCIT and lastly instructed RNs at Temple, BCC and MCC. She was a Master Gardener and an accomplished lap swimmer.
Lyn in survived by her husband of 44 years, David; 2 daughters: Leslie (Adam) Garman of Little Egg Harbor and Brittany (Chris) Alfinito of Burlington; 3 grandchildren: Rebecca Lynn Garman, Courtney Garman, & Skylar Alfinito; and a great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by 2 brothers: John William “Bill” Denworth (Kathy) and Earl James “Jim” Denworth (Dale); and numerous nieces and nephews most especially Jennifer Denworth Long and Michelle Denworth and her motherin-law Joan Boas. Lyn is fondly remembered by her long time best friends Jim and Linda Narke
A Remembrance Ceremony will be held at O’Connors Restaurant, Monmouth Rd., Eastampton on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 1-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lyn’s memory may be made to either The Tender, 4501 Church Rd., Mt.
