Argyro D. Rose passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday at Crestview Center, Langhorne, PA.

Born in Chios, Greece, she immigrated to the US with her sister to Montreal, Canada in 1951, where she worked in the garment industry. Argyro married to the late Michael I. Rose in 1956 and moved to Trenton, NJ where they resided until 1981. They then moved to Yardley, PA.

Argyro was a loving mother, grandmothe­r, and wife. She was an accomplish­ed gardener, baker with a tremendous work ethic in everything she did. Argyro was very involved in the Greek Orthodox church, belonged to the ladies Philoptoch­os society and baked communion bread weekly for Sunday Mass.

Arygyro was the daughter of Dimitri and Eptia Venetus Demtriadas. She was predecease­d by her husband Michael I. Rose, her brother, Stellos, and sisters, Athena Coste and Theno Corcodilos. She is survived by her son James M. Rose and his wife Nancy, her daughter Athena Rose and four grand children, James, Jessica, Alexa, and Michael.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:30 -11AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Road, Hamilton. Funeral Service will begin at 11AM followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
