Stephen J. Vagott Jr., 92, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. Born in Trenton, he grew up in West Virginia and later moved back to Trenton. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and worked for Thermoids Products and Goodall Rubber in Trenton. After retirement he worked as a bartender for several locations including the Bromley Inn for 15 years.

Stephen was a Past Elder of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Trenton and a Past President of the American Hungarian Democratic Club. He was a member of the William Penn Federation and the Bordentown Township Senior Citizens.

He enjoyed taking trips to the Seaside Boardwalk and casinos in Atlantic City, fishing and crabbing with his family and going to Phillies and Eagles games. He enjoyed making people laugh, was a loving husband, father and grandfathe­r and was very inspiratio­nal to his family. He will be deeply missed.

Son of the late Stephen and Julia Vagott, husband of the late Margaret Vagott and brother of the late John, Andrew and Louis Vagott, he is survived by his daughter: Margaret and Robert Campbell of Bordentown Township. His siblings: Julia Roberts of Reading, PA, Goldie Vagott-Garnich and her husband Gerald of FL, Charles Vagott and his wife Barbara of Ewing, Mary Kervan and her husband Richard of Hamilton and James Vagott of NC. Grandchild­ren: Robert M. Campbell Jr and his wife Colleen, Jason S. Campbell and his wife Darlene and Scott J. Campbell. Four great grandchild­ren: Sienna, Hunter, Aubree and Everly and many sister and brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews along with many, many friends.

A visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday, February 28th followed by a funeral service at 7pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Interment will be at the convenienc­e of the family. Please feel free to share photos and remembranc­es at the service and in lieu of traditiona­l funeral arrangemen­ts bring a flower that can be planted in the family garden.
