Rosemarie Szarka of Hamilton

Rosemarie Szarka, 77, of Hamilton entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Arcadia Nursing & Rehab in Hamilton, NJ. Born in Jamestown, NY, Rosemarie married her husband, Donald L. Szarka Sr. in 1963 and has resided in the Hamilton area ever since. She was an avid reader of newsrack magazines, especially the soaps. Rosemarie loved to do crossword and word search puzzles. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Daughter of the late Charles and Carmela (Ricotta) Calcesi; beloved wife of the late Donald L. Szarka Sr.; sister of the late Marian Barber; she is survived by her two sons, Donald L. Szarka Jr., David C. Szarka and wife Bambina Ucci Szarka; two grandchildren, Gabriella “Gabby” and Matteo Szarka; two sisters, Josephine Arnone and Virginia and husband George Ciancio; five nephews: George and Tom Ciancio, Maurice Arnone, and Raymond and John Schumann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 So. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ.
